Seriously!?! I don't know what Summer '09 is shaping up like where you're sittin', but it's pretty f[bleep]king bleak where I'm sittin'.

Apparently, the little buggers El Nino and La Nina aren't responsible. This year it's actually the jet stream that's causing us to have a crappy (and I'm being REALLY polite here) summer. For some reason the jet stream has decided that it cannot come as far north as is necessary to give us a decent bit of weather.

I'm not sure how you feel, but I think Mother Nature owes us... BIG! If she thinks that she can rob us of a summer and then dump a shitload of snow on us again next winter, she's got another think coming... I say we vote the old broad out! That's right! No more sacrificing virgins, no more building temples in her honor, no more howlin' at the moon... wait, maybe we can still howl at the moon, okay?

But seriously, I'm taking votes for which mythical god should replace Mother Nature. Note that Mother Goose is not a mythical god, though well-written arguments for her taking the postion will be considered.

pinhead? Maybe you think you aren't, but you are. For sure you've encountered pinheads, especially if you live anywhere near me. Note that I used the plural. If you believe that you've never encountered a pinhead, it's likely that you're a pinhead yourself. And even if you aren't a pinhead there's a good chance that you know some pinheads personally.

In all honesty it's possible, if not likely, that some people, perhaps even you, think that I'm a pinhead, too... Maybe... hmmm... maybe we're all f[bleep]ing pinheads; I don't know. But for sure some of us are pinheads at one time or another.

So what exactly is a pinhead, you may wonder (or not, especially if you're a pinhead yourself). A pinhead is someone that writes "your" when they actually mean "you're" (if you don't get that, it's likely that you're a pinhead). A pinhead is someone that inconveniences dozens of others just so they won't be inconvenienced themselves. Basically, a pinhead is someone whose head is so far up there own ass that... well never mind that for now.

In any event, www.ravingmad.com is here for the sole purpose of allowing me to blow off a little steam by poking some fun at life's daily dose of bullshit. If, along the way, I entertain or even amuse you I guess I can live with that. I mean what's wrong with one pinhead laughing at another, eh?
